The restaurant smelled good when I walked in with my family for dinner. There were beautiful decorations like Chinese writing and bamboo designs on the wall paper. There were beautiful Asian pictures and good luck kitty cats. My favorite one was the golden cat. They looked so cute. The tea was really good. It was really warm, flavorful, and smooth. It was warm and relaxing running down my throat. It wasn’t long before they served us our appetizers, plain fried won tons and vegetable tempura. The fried won tons were nice and crunchy and not too greasy. The sweet and sour sauce for the fried won tons wasn’t sour at all. It was really sweet and flavorful and smooth, not chunky. The tempura wasn’t bad. It was crunchy on the outside which was good but it wasn’t my favorite thing. Not too long after that they served us our regular orders: plain chow mein noodles, white rice, vegetable fried rice and vegetarian sweet and sour pork (made with potatoes instead of pork). The plain chow mein noodles were my favorite thing of all! They are slippery, flavorful and delicious. The white rice was not flavorful at all but when you put the sweet and sour sauce on it, it tastes good! The rice was just right—not too sticky but a little sticky. I didn’t like the vegetable fried rice too much but it was a little bit good. I didn’t like all the vegetables in it but the rice had a good fried flavor. The vegetarian sweet and sour potatoes were soft and mushy on the inside but nice and crunchy on the outside. Just right. The crunchy feels good on my teeth. The sweet and sour sauce is great on the potatoes too. Finally, they brought fortune cookies and I got a great fortune. I have a collection of fortunes from fortune cookies at home. The cookie was nice and sweet and crunchy. It’s a place where you can try lots of new foods and its nice and relaxing too. Every time I go there, I dress in a Chinese dress. That makes it even more fun. I recommend this restaurant. 5 stars!
